E. C. Reems Community Services is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit public benefit corporation. The organization was founded in 1989, to address the need for mental health and wellness services for the African American population of the area. To answer that need we used our understanding of the diverse African American experience to develop events, training, information and ongoing programs that directly prepares and motivates African Americans to begin and maintain continuous participation in these activities. For 29 years, we have successfully partnered with individuals, public and private organizations and agencies, mental health providers and medical practitioners to provide ongoing culturally competent, congruent, and humility services. To that end we present the Live Life Well Project.
