E.C. Reems Community Services 7th Annual Job & Health Fair
Coming Soon...
E.C. Reems Community would like to invite you to be a part of our 6th Annual Job & Health Fair, entitled, “Forward Thinking: Being the Best Version of You.” Healthcare disparities remain a national concern and research shows heart diseases, diabetes, strokes and cancer is the leading cause of death. It is believed that healthcare providers are aware of patient’s cultural health benefits and practices that could help improve health outcomes. We seeks to strengthen the community level of cultural competency by discussing issues related to diversity and identifying strategies that promote culturally responsive care particularly in underserved communities.
There are very few life events as stressful as a job search. Being in transition presents continuous challenges and requires personal resilience each step of the way. Our organization is continuing our journey to have employers present to hire individuals in the community, as well as host a number of forums that individuals in the community can dialogue and ask questions as it relates to employment, with the goal of helping to increase the community self-knowledge, boost self-efficacy and improve self-sufficiency.
AT THIS EVENT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:
- Visit with local employers about job opportunities;
- Leave resumes and/or job applications with employers;
- Have a short interview with employers about your job skills
- Free health screening, various medical and dental consultations;
- Apply for state and federal benefits;
- Free giveaways
And much more!
Therefore, on (Date Coming Soon), we will host our 7th Annual Job and Health Fair in the courtyard of 8411 MacArthur Blvd. in Oakland, CA, from 11am-3pm to educate and empower our community about health and workforce development in hopes of helping to influence behaviors about ways to increase their quality of life. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you on such a worthy cause.
ALL VENDORS/EXHIBITORS: Please email info@ecreemscommunityservice.org or call (510) 562-3270 for a Vendor/Exhibitors registration packet.
